So I realized that I had to find a way to enable Premium Trial, in order to unlock the setting, delete the Schedule Scan and then disable the Premium Trial period.īAM!!! None of the installers enabled the Premium Trial (WTF?) - whatever version I tried, so I had to go the other way round to enable the Trial (involving fake keys - sorry guys at Staff - but none of them worked as it should be, of course!).Īt the end, after a lot trial & error I finally managed to enable the editing on this Scheduled Scan setting and get rid of it ? Indeed you are absolutely right, since I already had suspected some kind of settings leftover from previous version and the 1st thing I tried was a clean re-install from newly downloaded standalone installer (mbam*.exe), even trying older versions from file-hippo or mbam cleaner tool, oh Gosh!īut, to no avail, unfortunately: this setting was still there and LOCKED (neither Edit or Delete).
